The Vineland Fire Department is advising all residents to clear the snow from around fire hydrants in front of your property. There are in excess of two thousand fire hydrants located throughought the city. Many of these hydrants are partially covered by snow from the most recent snowstorm. With another snow storm predicted for Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday,many of these hydrants may become completely covered in snow. Access to these hydrants is vital to Fire Department operations in an emergency and to the safety of you and your property.
