THE FRONT WILL INTERACT WITH A HUMID AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS AND CAUSE AREAS OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS, SOME OF WHICH MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN. THE MOST LIKELY TIME FOR THE HEAVIEST RAINS IS DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. THE GROUND REMAINS WET IN MANY LOCATIONS AS A RESULT OF THE HEAVY RAINS EARLIER IN THE WEEK. AREAS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN ARE EXPECTED FROM THUNDERSTORMS... WITH LOCALIZED RAIN AMOUNTS UP TO FIVE INCHES. THESE AMOUNTS WILL ONLY EXACERBATE THE FLASH FLOOD THREAT. MOTORISTS WILL NEED TO USE CAUTION AS ROAD AND HIGHWAY FLOODING MAY CAUSE TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS.
