McHenry Police arrest suspect for Attempted Murder on Wednesday, June 23, 2010
On Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 3:50pm McHenry Officers responded to a stabbing at 4514 Garden Quarter. The suspect, Luis Gayton of McHenry, was apprehended by officers on the scene.
The victim received multiple stab wounds and was flown to Condell Hospital by Flight for Life helicopter in Critical condition and one bystander who attempted to pull the suspect off the victim received a laceration to the hand.
The victim is currently in stable condition and the offender was transferred to McHenry County Jail after being charged with:
1. Attempted First Degree Murder
2. Aggravated Domestic Battery
3. Aggravated Battery
4. Unlawful Use of a Weapon
