The Bedford Police Department is currently accepting applications for the Citizens Police Academy class #40. This FREE course will begin on September 9, 2010 and will meet every Thursday at the Police Department for twelve weeks. The Citizens Police Academy is designed to give Bedford citizens and businesses located within the City of Bedford an in-depth overview of the internal workings of the Police Department. Different instructors will be on hand each week to provide the class with a variety of information. The twelve week course will conclude with graduation ceremonies and a catered dinner.
