Police Department is accepting applications for the Citizen’s Police Academy. Program is FREE and is open to anyone that lives OR works in the city of The Colony who is 18 years old or older.
Designed to give the public a working knowledge of The Colony Police Department. Held every Tuesday for 2 1/2 hours for 11 weeks. The instruction is comprehensive and each week covers different areas of the police department. Topics such as patrol, recruitment, training, communications, criminal investigations and narcotics are covered. CPA members also get to ride out with patrol officers during their shift. ** This will be the first CPA class to use the new firing range that is being built **
