Emergency Management Officials are working closely with state and county officials monitoring National Weather Service websites for the latest information concerning the possible flooding of the Delaware River.
Predictions as of Thursday morning indicate little to no river flooding in the Titusville area. Updated predictions are expected later this morning.
Road and stream flooding is expected later today and tonight during periods of heavy rain. Motorists should use caution when driving, do not drive around barricades.
Residents living in flood prone areas should prepare by moving items to higher levels and continuing to monitor news and weather reports. Updated information will be posted on the township’s web site at http://www.hopewelltwp.org/ under Alerts and Advisories.
