Earthquake 
Location: 35 miles northwest of Richmond, VA (epicenter)
Event Description: An earthquake, of a magnitude 5.8 on the Richter scale, was experienced on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. This event was confirmed by the Lohan-Doherty geologic observatory of Columbia University. At this time there are no reports of infrastructure damage in NJ.
