November 11, 2011 - TCCP1 arrest five suspects in Hawg Heaven burglaries.

November 11, 2011 – Trinity County Pct1 Constable’s Office arrested five people charging them with the burglary of a residence in the Hawg Heaven Subdivision. The residence was broken into twice with several items being reported as stolen. Virgil Cole (39 years old from Trinity), April Knight (33 years old from Trinity), Mandy Sherrard (24 years old from Trinity), Jesse Wingate (52 years old from Trinity), and Jason Wingate (37 years old from Trinity) were all charged with felony burglary of a habitation. The first burglary was reported in August of 2011. In October of 2011 the residence was burglarized a second time. This time the victims reported the burglary to the Constable’s Office. Deputy Constable’s were working in the area in an effort to clear up the burglaries and other thefts. Following a traffic stop by Deputy Constable’s Barrett and Hope, the right amount of information was received to proceed with criminal charges against the five suspects. The Constable’s Office has recovered a large amount of the stolen property. Some of the items were sold to individuals and some were pawned in the Livingston area. If you have purchased anything from one of the suspects, please contact the Constable’s Office (936-594-2122) or your local law enforcement in an effort to help us recover the last few stolen items. All five suspects received an $18,000.00 bond set by Judge Beard after being arrested. They were subsequently transported directly to the Houston County Jail.
