Testing of St. Joe’s Univ. Emergency Broadcast System Saturday Morning at 9:00 AM 
There will be a scheduled testing of the Saint Joseph’s University’s Emergency Broadcast System taking place on Saturday, 7 January 2012 at 9:00 AM. This particular test will begin with an audible three (3) minute pulsating siren emitting from the Barbelin/Lonergan Hall bell tower. The Barbelin/Lonergan Hall bell tower is located on the Philadelphia side of City Avenue between 54th Street and Cardinal Avenue.
The siren will be followed by a public address announcement transmitted over that same bell tower speaker system. The announcement will indicate that “This is a test of the Saint Joseph’s University Emergency Broadcast System”. The total time allotted for this test is approximately ten (10) minutes.
The announcement will be followed by an on-campus residence hall Active Shooter Exercise that will commence at 9:15 AM and conclude at approximately 2:00 PM. The exercise will take place at LaFarge Hall, 2425 Cardinal Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131.
