Friday, December 23, 2011 Hope Mills Police were called to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center (ER). There they met with a 46 YOA white male that was being treated for gunshot wounds. The victim
told police that while he was sitting in his vehicle, parked in front of his home the night before, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at approximately 9PM, three black males approached him, at least two were armed with guns. The victim said the suspects demanded money and they took a cell phone he had just purchased. Before leaving the suspects shot the victim as he sat in his vehicle. The victim did not remember much until he woke up the next day, when he called for assistance to be taken to the ER.
January 6, 2012 This agency posted two WANTED POSTERS for brothers, Demery and Derrick McLymore for the crime listed above. They were accomplices with two other persons that had been arrested earlier. Dennis Cromartie and Shide Underwood. Yesterday,January 10, 2012 both McLymore brothers were picked up in Sampson County and taken before the Cumberland County Magistrate.
Both were charged with: Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury with Intent to Kill, Conspiracy.
Both bonds were set at $250,000.00 secure. Both are listed with an address on the 400 block of Doc Hillsmith Lane in Roseboro, NC.
