15 Sergeants graduated from the ILEA School of Police Supervision, an extensive 4 week police training school
Earlier this week, 15 Sergeants graduated from the School of Police Supervision, an Institute for Law Enforcement Administration (ILEA) course. This is the only independent four-week school in the nation for police supervisors and recognizes the importance of supervision as a major management function in law enforcement. The curriculum focuses on the transition from "street policing" to management, especially the social and personal adjustments.
At the graduation Tuesday, Arlington was well-represented with notable accomplishments going to Sgt. Brook Rollins (class president), Sgt. Kyle Dishko (valedictorian), Sgt. Kendra Warr and Sgt. Brook Rollins (recognized as one of the top five academic members), and Sgt. Don Pilcher (ILEA Alumni Association presented Award for Professionalism).
