Thefts from Vehicles – Belmont Hills, Penn Wynne & Overbrook Hills

Between the early morning hours of Friday, February 24, 2012 and Sunday, February 26, 2012 thefts from vehicles occurred in the Belmont Hills, Penn Wynne and Overbrook Hills sections of Lower Merion Township. All vehicles were entered through unlocked doors and cash or other valuable items were removed from the vehicles. Residents are encouraged to park their vehicles in a well-lit area, to remove all valuables and, if so equipped, to activate their auto’s alarm and lock the doors. Anyone with information about these thefts is encouraged to contact the Lower Merion Police at 610-649-1000. Residents are equally encouraged to immediately report any suspicious person(s), vehicle(s) or circumstances to the Lower Merion Police by dialing 9-1-1
