Update:

Detectives and forensic technicians with the Fayetteville Police Department now have photos from surveillance cameras taken during the robbery and shooting that occurred at 1913 Ramsey Street on March 10, 2012. During the course of the robbery, the victim was shot by the suspect after the suspect demanded money. The suspect arrived as a passenger in a dark colored sedan with damage to the right front quarter panel. The vehicle is either a Mercury Grand Marquis or Ford Crown Victoria. After the shooting, the suspect walked away while the driver of the sedan drove away. The suspect is described as:
• Early to mid-twenties in age
• Around 5’8” tall
• Slim to medium build
• Wearing a dark colored coat and an Atlanta Braves hat

Victim Shot During Robbery (3/12/2012)

On March 10, 2012 shortly after 2 AM, Fayetteville Police responded to a report of a shooting that occurred at a gas station located at 1913 Ramsey Street. The victim was pumping gas when a suspect walked up to the victim, demanded money, and then shot the victim. The suspect then left the scene on foot. The victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
