On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at approximately 2:00 a.m., an unknown individual attempted to rob the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 2880 Highway 190 in Mandeville.
The suspect handed the on-duty pharmacist a note, which was described by the pharmacist as “rambling” and including Roman numerals, stating he wanted all of the unopened containers of narcotics. The pharmacist added that the note went on to state that the suspect did not have any weapons and that he was not joking. During this encounter the pharmacist leaned over the counter and attempted to grab the back of the suspects head and pull him towards the counter.
