Northeast Tarrant Co cities requested to reduce water consumption

Arlington, TX - April 4, 2012 - The Trinity River Authority of Texas this evening requests that the cities of Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine and N Richland Hills encourage their citizens to voluntarily reduce water consumption as a precautionary measure to offset effects of a power outage at TRA's Tarant Co Water Supply Project. TRA's request is related solely to the quantity of water available to the cities' storage tanks, and TRA anticiaptes that power will be restored within the next four hours.
