Detectives are seeking the public's help with identifying suspect from four recent robberies.
The Arlington Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying a man who has robbed four Arlington businesses at gunpoint during a recent one-week timeframe. Between April 2, 2012, and April 8, 2012, this suspect entered four businesses and approached the counter and displayed a handgun. The man demanded money from the cash registers and the clerks complied. The four robbery locations and dates of the incidents are:
1) April 2, 2012 – 3600 block of Matlock Road – restaurant
2) April 6, 2012 – 1500 block of S. Cooper Street – convenience store
3) April 6, 2012 – 700 block of W. Interstate 20 – convenience store
4) April 8, 2012 – 600 block of W. Abram Street – convenience store
The suspect is described as a black man, between 30 and 40-years-old, approximately 5’8” tall, and weighing between 160-200 pounds with a muscular build (photos of the suspect are attached to this email). The suspect has been seen leaving the scene of these robberies in a silver or grey, newer model four-door Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix. The car appears to have a sunroof and a temporary paper license plate.
