The Los Angeles Police Department invites you to attend our Citizen Community Police Academy!
On May 30, 2012, Operations-West Bureau will conduct a Citizen Community Police Academy for adults.
The eleven-week course will be held at the Recruit Training Center located at 5651 W. Manchester, Los Angeles, 90045. The class will meet each Wednesday evening between 6:30 and 9:30 pm. The course will conclude with a graduation ceremony on August 8, 2012.
Attending this class helps you gain a broader and deeper understanding of the skills and knowledge of the Los Angeles Police Department. Great exposure to specialized units like the Bomb Squad, K-9 Units, SWAT and more. You’ll also have opportunity to visit a couple of special facilities like the 911 communication centers. While it’s a big commitment of time – folks regularly say it was well worth the time and effort.
