The state's Click It Or Ticket campaign, police officers, sheriffs' deputies and State Police troopers will have worked thousands of overtime hours enforcing the state's seat belt law. With 127 law enforcement agencies joining the effort, our 2012 Click it Or Ticket campaign is the largest seat belt crackdown ever conducted in Louisiana. Our seat belt campaign runs in two phases: One that goes through the Memorial Day weekend followed by a heavy public outreach effort through the first half of June.
