11 Appliance Theft Burglaries from Vacant Homes. List of 51 Addresses in LA & Ventura Counties. 2 arrested by LASD

Two suspects were seen by a citizen allegedly removing a stove from a vacant house in Palmdale on Tuesday. When the concerned citizen approached them to see what they were doing, the suspects fled. Witnesses followed them, called Palmdale Sheriff's Station and reported what they had seen.

The deputies caught up with the suspects on the 400 block of West Palmdale Blvd in a primer gray colored 1978 Ford Pickup (Click on hyperlink at the bottom of this message to see photos)

36-year old Suspect Victor Ramirez-Albor and 35-year old Suspect Julio Camacho-Monteil were arrested by Palmdale Sheriff's Station deputies for residential burglary.

At the time the suspects were stopped by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies, th investigation showed they had already dropped off the two stoves at a vacant house on Heritage Court. The suspects were in possession of a handwritten list of vacant homes in Palmdale as well as addresses of homes in numerous other cities in Southern California. They also possessed numerous keys which appeared to open real estate lock boxes.

Sheriff's Detectives Wolanski and Arnold of the Palmdale Station Burglary Suppression Unit immediately responded and began to investigate. After interviewing the suspects and analyzing the evidence, it was believed the suspects were allegedly involved in a much larger burglary ring.

Detectives learned that some of the homes on the list had already been burglarized.

Since January, in Palmdale alone, detectives believe the suspects are connected to at least eleven burglaries.

The list in their possession had a total of 51 addresses on it. In addition to the vacant locations in Palmdale, the list had locations in Carson, Compton, Long Beach, Ojai, Oxnard, Simi Valley and Ventura.

Palmdale Sheriff's detectives will be contacting all the law enforcement agencies listed to work jointly in the investigation. They are asking the public to contact their local policing agency if they have been victimized under similar circumstances or if they recognize the suspects or vehicle in connection with similar crimes.

The suspects have been booked on burglary charges, with a bail of $50,000.
