Asking for public's help identifying pharmacy robbery suspect shown in video surveillance, photographs
Arlington Police Detectives, along with other North Texas Law Enforcement agencies, are asking for assistance in identifying robbery suspects who have been targeting 24-hour pharmacies.
Since February 2012, there have been similar robberies of 8 Walgreens and 1 CVS store. Six offenses occurred in Arlington with the most recent on June 23, 2012. In each offense, a suspect entered the pharmacy between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. The suspect displayed a handgun to the clerk, and walked away with money and cigarettes.
Detectives believe that the suspect may not be working alone. The suspect is described as a black man with a light complexion or a Hispanic male between 5’6” – 5’9” tall with a thin build. The suspect who entered the store wore a mask, long-sleeve shirt, long pants, gloves and a head cover. This indicates that he or she may be trying to cover other scars, marks or tattoos on their body.
Detectives are urging anyone with information about these offenses to contact Arlington PD Detective S. Archer at (817) 459-5336 or Detective B. Dunn at (817) 459-5729. Anyone wishing to provide anonymous information for a cash reward of up TO $1000, please contact Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at (817) 469-8477 or online at www.469tips.com.
