Please join the LAPD and the West Hills community in celebrating our first ever “WEST HILLS NATIONAL NIGHT OUT and CHILD SAFETY FAIR”
Save the Date: Aug 7, 6pm to 8pm. Shadow Ranch Park (Vanowen east of Fallbrook Ave). Food, music and important safety info that will protect your children or grandchildren
Chaminade Marching band will be on hand to provide exciting music. We will also have Child Jumper Slide and face painting for the kids.
Important Guests will include Congressman Berman, State Senator, New District Councilmember Englander, the West Hills Neighborhood Council, the West Hills Chamber of Commerce and LAPD Topanga Division Police Officers.
Topanga Cadets and Jeopardy will be on hand to accept new members into LAPD youth programs. We will provide child ID kits, Traffic safety information and neighborhood watch sign-ups.
Important drug awareness and prevention information will provided by your local Elks Lodge. Target will be sponsoring the event with snacks and prizes.
LAPD vehicles and equipment will be on display for kids to sit in and try out. It should be a great time for all. Come out and take a stand against crime in your community. Please pass this event information on to friends and family who may not receive NIXLE.
