Alert

Residents who rely on wells should stockpile water in advance of Hurricane Sandy. Prepare to shelter in place.

Residents should prepare for several days without electric. If you rely on a well, you should stockpile water for drinking and for flushing toilets in advance of the storm. Be prepared to shelter in place. Loss of electric alone is not cause to evacuate. When the storm has passed we will be setting up water distribution sites at Hopewell Township Public Works, Hopewell, Pennington, and Union Fire Houses. Residents MUST bring their own containers for filling.
Visit the State Office of Emergency Management at http://ready.nj.gov for additional important information.
