Switzerland Co. Sheriff: Investigators identify two suspects wanted in connection with thefts in Switzerland County.

Sheriff Roy A. Leap reports, the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office in joint cooperation with the Pennsylvania State Police have identified two men in connection with the rash of thefts in the East Enterprise area last week. Identified are Jamie Blough Jr., age 19, of Dunlo, PA and Joshua Kerns, age 21, of St Michael, PA.

A truck belonging to local resident Nate Bovard was recovered in a reservoir close to Mr. Blough’s family residence. Investigators from Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office sent photos obtained from video surveillance in Switzerland County to the Pennsylvania State Police who was able to identify Jamie Blough as a local resident of Pennsylvania. Subsequent investigation led to identify the second suspect as Joshua Kerns.

Jamie Blough was arrested in Pennsylvania on a parole violation warrant out of that state for failure to report to his parole officer after being convicted in Pennsylvania on charges of theft. The investigation is ongoing in Switzerland County. Charges may also be filed in Ohio and Dearborn Counties where other thefts occurred.

The Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office advises that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
