Street-widening Project - Northbound Harbor Blvd., north of Adams Ave. Delays are expected.

A City street-widening project along Harbor Blvd. began yesterday, Monday, February 17th. Motorists should expect some delays near Adams Ave. for about two weeks.

The outermost lane (nearest the curb) of northbound Harbor Blvd., from south of Adams Ave. to north of Ponderosa St., will be closed for two weeks. This lane will be re-opened on Friday, February 28th.

The temporary closure is to allow for the City’s Harbor Blvd./Adams Ave. street-widening project and Southern California Edison’s replacement of a utility vault.

The City will be implementing an alternative traffic signal timing plan at Harbor Blvd. & Adams Ave. to extend some “green time” (light signal phase) to motorists traveling northbound on Harbor Blvd. during the closure.
