No Political Signs Allowed On State Right-of-Way

LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) reminds candidates that no political signs can be placed within state right-of-way land, including freeways, interstate, expressways, highways and many city streets. It is illegal to do, as per Nevada Revised Statute 405.020, 405.030 and 405.110 and Nevada Administrative Code 410.440. NDOT will remove any signs erected within state right-of-way property. Sign owners or their representatives can retrieve signs from the nearby NDOT maintenance station. However, signs will be discarded after 30 days. For more information, call NDOT at: (702) 385-6500.
