Gracias. // If you live, work or are visiting an area affected by the Range Fire near Bear Valley Springs, please pay close attention to this message. // The Range Fire has become a threat to residences from El Camino Drive west in Bear Valley Springs. The precautionary evacuation for this area has been elevated to a RECOMMENDED evacuation. // A recommended evacuation means that the fire is an imminent threat and all persons in the evacuation area are strongly advised to leave and seek shelter away from the fire area. A recommended evacuation will likely be the last warning given. // Your Kern County emergency authorities recommend that all persons in the area from El Camino Drive west in Bear Valley Springs evacuate as soon as possible. // An emergency evacuation center will be opened at Monroe Continuation High School at 126 South Snyder Avenue in Tehachapi.
