La Brea Avenue / Santa Monica Blvd
10/17/2017 @ 5:30pm.  A man was riding his bicycle on La Brea Avenue on the sidewalk when he got into a verbal argument with another man. The argument escalated and the victim was punched several times in the face. The suspect rode away from the area on the victim’s bicycle. Loss $50. #05673

10/17/2017 @ 2:50pm.  An unknown suspect removed a window screen but was scared away by a witness.  The location is a vacant property. No loss. #05670

10/18/2017 @ 12:00pm - 11:20pm.  An unknown suspect used force on the front door to gain entry. Nothing was taken. Loss $200 (door). #05686

10/19/2017 @ 4:00pm – 8:00am.  An unknown suspect ransacked the interior and removed a tote bag containing a laptop computer from the back seat of the unlocked vehicle. Loss $2300. #05761

10/20/2017 @ 10:18am.  A man was getting gas when a man approached him and asked for money.  The victim refused and was hit on the head with an umbrella.  The suspect also approached two additional victims while armed with a knife and demanded money.  Responding deputies located and arrested the suspect. #05713

10/21/2017 @ 3:05am.  A man was filming an altercation on the street when a man reached into the victim’s car and attempted to pull the camera from the victim’s hand.  Another man threw a rock at the victim’s vehicle and shattered the windshield. #05733
