The Torrance Police Department encourages everyone of all ages to wear their safety belts while traveling.  SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. will partner with numerous law enforcement agencies to spread awareness about child seat belt safety between April 29, 2018 and May 5, 2018. SafetyBeltSafe U.S.A. is the national non-profit organization dedicated to child passenger safety.

Child Seat Belt Law: 27360 VC
Children under 8 years of age must travel in a child restraint system.  Children under 2 years of age must ride “rear facing” in a child restraint system (unless 40” tall or 40 pounds)
