Suspicious Painted Rock Discovered - 200 Block of N. Adams St.

Around 3PM this afternoon, a city employee found a painted rock in the bushes in the 200 block of N. Adams St. Upon picking up the rock, the employee discovered that a rusty razor blade was attached to the rock using a rubber band. If someone had picked up the rock without noticing the razor blade, they could have sustained a cut that would have needed medical attention. As the "Find a Rock/Hide a Rock" treasure hunt game is popular among kids, we are encouraging parents to pay attention to painted rocks and check them before their children pick them up. If anybody knows who left this rock with the razor blade connected to it or finds another rock under similar circumstances, please notify the Green Bay Police Department at (920) 448-3208.
