KCSO partnering with DEA National Drug Take Back Initiative. 8 Drop-Off locations in Kern County this Sat. Oct. 27th

Please help the DEA and the Kern County Sheriff's Office by preventing unused or old prescription medications making it into the hands of juveniles or out on the street. No names, questions, or information will be asked of you when you turn in medication. Simply show up and dispose of your medications at the following locations (locations provided below) on Oct. 27th between 10 am and 2 pm. We ask that Kern County residents please not dispose of medications improperly by flushing down toilets OR throwing away in the trash. Questions? Please call (661) 391-7559 or email

Rx and OTC pills/capsules and liquids only. Rx and OTC liquids MUST be properly sealed. Syringes and illicit drugs will not be accepted.
