Status of City of Cleveland 5/10/2019

Last night was the worst of the storms we have seen so far for this round. The ball park parking lot has some standing water but the fields are ok. Tarkington Bayou is out of its normal banks but is still lower than the road and bridge. E. Houston at CR 318 is under water but passable. The area of where 3rd and 4th streets would be are under water over Ross, Lilley, and the dead end of Center. While these areas normally have water over them the worst is Ross which is the deepest and fastest moving water. Public Works has a unit on site monitoring. Lilley is still passable. No lived in residences are affected at this time.
So, if we can have some time throughout today to drain again I still believe we will be okay when the next line of storms comes through. Reminder the severe storm and flood has been extended until tomorrow night.
