Flood Warning until 10:58AM Saturday

A river flood warning remains in effect for the Brazos River...Clear Creek... Little Cypress Creek...Middle Yegua Creek...Navasota River...Peach Creek...San Bernard River...Spring Creek...Tres Palacios River...Trinity River...West Fork San Jacinto. The Flood Warning continues for The Peach Creek at Splendora

* until Saturday morning or until the warning is canceled.

* At 1000 PM Friday the stage was 13.7 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to fall below flood.

* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood early Saturday morning.

* At 13.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins as water escapes the main channel.

* AFFECTED AREAS: HARRIS, TX ... MONTGOMERY, TX

Instructions:

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede. Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route. Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few days. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or other news sources for further updates.
