Advisory

City Slurry Seal Project, July 14 - September 1, 2016

ATTENTION RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES, AND PROPERTY OWNERS

WHAT The City of Arcadia has awarded a contract to American Asphalt South, Inc. for the 2015-2016 Annual Slurry Seal Project. Your street will be slurry sealed as a part of this project.

WHEN Slurry work for the entire project area is scheduled to begin on July 14, 2016 and will be completed by September 1, 2016. There will be one day during the slurry seal project when your street and/or alley will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The contractor will notify you at least 48 hours, by door hanger, prior to any work being performed on your street.

WHERE The slurry seal project will take place on City streets between Colorado Street/Boulevard and Duarte Road and between West City Limits and Santa Anita Avenue. A map indicating the streets for slurry is located on the back of the notification. The map and dates that each street will be slurry sealed will be available for review on the City’s website (www.ArcadiaCA.gov) prior to slurry seal application. The map will be updated as the project progresses and should be checked regularly for changes.
