Yucaipa Multiple Enforcement Team arrests three suspects for operating a drug house

SUSPECT(S): Joseph Albrecht, age 20 of Yucaipa
Michale Hiers, age 26 of Yucaipa
Brandon Stowers, age 23 of San Bernardino


Yucaipa MET Team deputies, detectives, and a San Bernardino County Probation Officer served a search warrant at a residence located in the 12300 block of Bryant Street. Through investigation, detectives determined Joseph Albrecht was maintaining a residence where controlled substances were being sold. Joseph Albrecht was subsequently arrested at the residence. Two other subjects were both found to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) and County felony probation were also in the residence. They were identified as Michael Hiers and Brandon Stowers. They were both arrested for violation of probation. All three subjects were booked into the Central Detention Center where Hiers and Stowers are being held without bail; Albrecht is being held in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.

As part of Governor Jerry Brown's Realignment Plan, or Assembly Bill 109, to comply with a U.S. Supreme Court Decision requiring the state to lower its prison population; offenders with non-violent, non-sexual and non-serious convictions will serve reduced sentences in county jails and be placed on local supervision through county probation.

The Multiple Enforcement Team / Problem Oriented Policing Detail is funded by and serves the City of Yucaipa. Among other duties, officers assigned to this detail seek wanted persons, work with parole and probation officers to ensure that people under their supervision remain in compliance with the law, and respond to concerns expressed by citizens regarding all types of criminal activity that is affecting their neighborhoods and communities.
