Seven suspects are arrested for operating a drug house and multiple other charges

INCIDENT: ​HS 11366 – Operate Narcotics Residence
​HS 11351 – Possess Heroin for Sales
​HS 11378 – Possess Methamphetamine for Sales
​PC 475 – Possess Forged Checks
​PC 459 – Vehicle Burglary
​HS 11359 – Possess Marijuana for Sales
​PC 22810 (a) – Felon Possess Tear Gas / Pepper Spray
​PC 12022.1 (b) – Commit New Crime while out on O/R
​Probation Violation

On August 30, 2017, Yucaipa Met Team Deputies, Station Detectives, and San Bernardino County Probation served a search warrant at a residence in the 13400 block of 5th St. The home owner, Misty Laur, was arrested for HS 11366 Operate Narcotics residence. Laur was transported and booked into county jail. Due to jail overcrowding; Misty Laur was released on her own recognizance.

On September 8, 2017, Bail Bond Agents responded to this location in an attempt to locate a wanted fugitive. As they arrived, they contacted the above referenced seven suspects and found narcotics. The bail agents requested the assistance of deputies from the Yucaipa Police Department

The Yucaipa MET Team Deputies, patrol deputies, and station detectives responded to the location and assumed the investigation. During their investigation, it was found that the above subjects were once again using this residence as a place to use and distribute narcotics. Additionally, they located numerous items of stolen property from numerous vehicles that were burglarized throughout the city. Deputies also located large amounts of methamphetamine, marijuana, and heroin packaged for sales. Santo Salvo, who is a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of pepper spray (tear gas).

During the investigation, a 17-year-old male juvenile was also contacted at the location and found to be on Formal Juvenile Probation. The investigation revealed he was violating numerous terms of his probation. The juvenile was arrested and booked into San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall.

Bryan Holdenbarth was also found to be out on Post Release Community Supervision, as part of California Assembly Bill 109.

As part of Governor Jerry Brown’s Realignment Plan or AB109, to comply with a U.S. Supreme Court decision requiring the state to lower its prison population by 30,000. Offenders with non violent, non-sexual, and non-serious convictions will serve reduced sentences in county jail and be placed on local supervision through county probation.

Additionally, due to jail overcrowding, several of the suspects were out of custody on their Own Recognizance in other cases pending future court appearances.

Based on the investigation, it is believed the above six adult suspects are all involved in ongoing vehicle burglaries, thefts, and ongoing check fraud crimes. Detectives are releasing the booking photos of the six suspects. Anyone that has witnessed any of these suspects committing a theft or check fraud is urged to contact the Yucaipa Police- Detective Division.

The Multiple Enforcement Team / Problem Oriented Policing Detail is funded by and serves the City of Yucaipa. Among other duties, officers assigned to this detail seek wanted persons, work with parole and probation officers to ensure that people under their supervision remain in compliance with the law, and respond to concerns expressed by citizens regarding all types of criminal activity that is affecting their neighborhoods and communities.
