Attempted Murder Investigation

DATE/TIME: September 12, 2017, at about 11:40 a.m.

INCIDENT: PC 664/187 Attempted Murder

LOCATION: 25000 block of Redlands Blvd, Loma Linda

SUSPECT(S): John Parmely, age 23 a resident of San Bernardino

SUMMARY: On September 12, 2017, at approximately 11:40 a.m., deputies, from the Central Station, Loma Linda patrol, responded to the 25000 block of Redlands Boulevard regarding a victim suffering from stab wounds. Deputies arrived on scene and gathered pertinent information which led to the identification of the suspect, later identified as John Parmely. Central Station Detectives took over the investigation and located Parmely's vehicle at his residence. Parmely was observed getting into his vehicle and driving away. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and made contact with Parmely. A search warrant was obtained for Parmely's residence. Evidence was located during the service of the search warrant. Parmely was arrested, transported and booked into Central Detention Center for attempted murder.
