Over 16,000 people attend Nocturnal Wonderland at Glen Helen Amphitheatre, cell phone theft ring uncovered at concert

INCIDENT: Nocturnal Wonderland 2017

LOCATION: Glen Helen Amphitheater

On September 15, 2017, Glen Helen Amphitheater hosted Nocturnal Wonderland 2017. Over 16,300 people were in attendance on day one of this two day event. During the show, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department arrested 7 people for charges ranging from drunk in public , possession of illegal drugs to outstanding warrants. California Alcoholic Beverage Control was also on site and arrested 21 individuals for various B&P violations. Two attendees were transported to local area hospitals for medical issues requiring additional treatment.

On a separate investigation, a cell phone theft ring was uncovered during the event. Over forty stolen cell phones were recovered and 5 individuals were arrested. Anyone that is a victim of a theft of cell phone is encouraged to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Central Station or Sheriff's Command Post at the venue.
