Armed robbers attempt to steal pedestrian's wallet

DATE/TIME: October 3, 2017 / 8:50 p.m.

INCIDENT: PC 664/211 Attempt Armed Robbery

LOCATION: Poplar Street / Prospect Avenue, Loma Linda

SUSPECT(S): Black Male, age 17-20, 5'06", wearing orange shirt
Black Male age 17-20, 5'08", wearing long sleeved dark sweater and a bandana covering face

On Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 8:50 p.m. Deputy Gabrielo Isiordia responded to a report of an attempted armed robbery in the city of Loma Linda. As the victim walked on Poplar Street near Prospect Avenue, two black male suspects approached him on foot. One suspect pointed a black handgun in the victim's face and demanded his wallet. The victim refused, pushed the gun out of his face and ran away. One suspect threatened to shoot the victim as he ran away. Both suspects fled north from the incident location.
