VICTIM: Ross Dress for Less

Deputies responded to the 33700 block of Yucaipa Blvd., in the city of Yucaipa, for a theft at the Ross Dress for Less store. Deputies contacted a witness who observed three black female adults in the Ross store gathering name brand purses. The witness saw the suspects leave the store without paying for the items. A description of the suspect vehicle was given as a white Dodge Intrepid. The witness directed deputies to the area of 5th Street and Forest Oaks Drive, where the vehicle was located unoccupied, parked on the side of the road. A record check of the license plate found the plate belonged to a Nissan and a check of the vehicle’s vehicle identification number (VIN) found it to be reported stolen from the city of San Bernardino. Inside the vehicle, deputies recovered several name brand purses and other merchandise stolen from the Ross Dress for Less store.

A reporting party notified deputies of two black females walking in a nearby neighborhood. They were flagging down vehicles and requesting a ride out of the area. An extensive search was conducted by deputies, with the assistance of the Sheriff’s Aviation patrol helicopter (40 King), but the suspects were not located. Deputies are asking for the publics assistance in identifying and locating these suspects.
