LOCATION: 11000 block of Fremont Street

VICTIM: Kassandra Brokus, age 28 of Yucaipa

DESCRIPTION: White female, 5'3" tall, weighing 160 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes
LAST SEEN WEARING: green shirt with white stripes, blue jeans and pink sandals, carrying a bright neon green backpack

UPDATE: At approximately 5:00 pm, Kassandra Brokus returned home safe and has been reunited with her family.
On Saturday, August 18th, at 12:13 pm, deputies from the Yucaipa Police Department responded to a residence in the 11000 block of Fremont Street for a report of a missing person, KASSANDRA BROKUS. Deputies were advised by family members that at approximately 7:00 am, Kassandra walked out of the residence and left to an unknown location. She has been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. She has a history of trying to hurt herself. Two days prior, Kassandra moved to Yucaipa from Colorado. Kassandra left without any money or a cell phone. Her family is concerned about her well being and is asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to immediately call Sheriff's Dispatch at (909) 387-8313.
