PG&E Public Safety Power Shut-off Program May Affect City of Clearlake

PG&E is currently considering shutting off power to some areas, including the City of Clearlake, to reduce the risk of wildfires occurring. A press release from PG&E discussing this potential shutoff as well as locations where they might occur can be found here: 

PG&E customers are urged to ensure that their contact information is correct so that they may be notified by PG&E of future Public Safety Shutoff events at PG&E should notify customers prior to such events occurring. For more information regarding PG&E's Community Wildfire Safety Program and Public Safety Shutoff please contact PG&E directly. The Clearlake Police Department does not have any control over PG&E's Public Safety Shutoff Program.
