PG&E Plans to Turn Off Power Tonight to Portions of Clearlake

PG&E has announced they will begin proactively turning off power as part of their Public Safety Power Shutoff program this evening.

The City of Clearlake is in Phase 2 of the planned shutoffs. The exact time of the shutoff is unknown, but is expected to be later tonight as the weather progresses. In the City of Clearlake, the outage is expected to impact around 2,000 customers. The Clearlake Police Department continues to engage with PG&E to determine the exact areas of the City that will be without power.

Power is expected to be restored by Monday night (October 15), with some outages potentially lasting into Tuesday (October 16).
