"At Risk" elderly male found safe and unharmed.

Mr. Galindez was found safe and unharmed.  The Union City Police Department would like to thank the community for helping us locate Mr. Galindez.

On Thursday February 14, 2019 at about 6:30 P.M., Union City Police Officers were called to a residence on 34800 block of Starling Dr. for a report of a missing person.  A caretaker at the home advised that one of the residents, 72 year old Manuel Galindez, left on foot at 7:10 A.M. and had not returned.  

Mr. Galindez was last seen wearing a brown jacket and khaki pants.  Mr. Galindez is approximately  5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 175lbs.  Mr. Galindez has Gray/Balding hair and brown eyes. 
Mr. Galindez suffers from mental disabilities and also has medical concerns.  He has been known to leave his residence without notifying his family. 

Police have conducted an extensive search for Mr. Galindez.  If you have any information that can assist us in safely locating Mr. Galindez, please call 911 or contact the Union City Police Department at 510-471-1365.
